Rest in Peace, Francis Lapointe (aka Frank Wolf) who committed suicide on Nov. 25th 2013. He was an exquisite model, loved to cosplay and was bullied for cross dressing and simply being who he was and doing what he loved to do. I wish he could’ve listened to every single person who admired him and loved him. Let this influence you to love yourself for who you are, not what society thinks or what others think. Influence others that they are beautiful inside and out and that suicide is NEVER the answer.
We lost a beautiful person along with Paul Walker this month. Best wishes to his family, friends, and his fans.
RIP Frank Wolf <3
I’m reblogging for his memory and the gorgeous pictures he left us. It saddens me deeply and personally that this person suffered so greatly because of an expression of beauty and an image he presented. He had every right to it, there was nothing wrong with him and there is nothing wrong with being beautiful in the way YOU see fit.
However, the text. The message here is not ‘stop caring what society thinks, haters gonna hate’! The message is: Stop fucking bullying people to death, you monsters. THAT is what the message is. Suicide is a final solution to a temporary problem, always and it is best to hold on, wait until the next day, just keep breathing. Even if it hurts, keep breathing and hold on for a day. And then two. And then go from there.
But the message is not, “Hey, you! Suicide is bad and you are selfish and look at how many people this boy saddened with his suicide!” The message should be, “Fight bullying because bullying kills. People can only do their part to live day to day in pain and yes, try your BEST. Please, hold on.” But we need to do our part to stop bullying when we see it, in ourselves or others. We need to stop with homophobic and transphobic jokes, we need to stop letting this shit go like it doesn’t MATTER or like telling someone to ‘be fierce and fuck the haters’ is going to save their lives. What will save lives is action. What will save lives is attacking bullying where it starts… never with the victim, but with the bully.
Everyone rests in peace, but we need to make this life more peaceful for the living.
